Who am I ?

Tall, well-mannered, and drawn to ligne claire.

Cartography and geometry interest me for what they reveal about the order of things.

Breton by origin, Parisian by adoption, I’m fairly easy to spot at the Musée du Jeu de Paume whenever there’s a black-and-white photography exhibition.

About

I approach design the way one composes a book: through rhythm, structure, and the spaces in between.

I have been working as an art director and graphic designer for over 12 years, including 9 as a freelancer.

I was trained at a time when print still held a central place—an environment that instilled a strong sense of detail, hierarchy, rhythm, and production, which continues to shape the way I design.

After several years in agencies, I chose to work independently in order to take full ownership of projects. This experience has allowed me to develop a comprehensive approach to art direction, from understanding editorial challenges to graphic design, production follow-up, and client relations.

Over the years, I have specialised in editorial design and publishing. I have produced numerous long-form publications and annual reports—projects where meaning, clarity, and structure are as essential as form. I approach design here as a narrative tool: to organise, prioritise, clarify, and give lasting identity to content.

Beyond editorial work, I also take on branding and overall art direction assignments for events and products, with the same level of consistency and attention to detail.

My background has shaped a distinct profile: an autonomous art director, used to leading projects end-to-end, with a strong expertise in print. I am not specialised in motion design or 3D; my focus lies in creating grounded, enduring graphic work, carefully crafted and built to last.
